Board of Trustees Meeting
Fairlee Library
July 18, 2018

In attendance: Cyrie Lange, Samantha Hickman, Charlotte Williams, Ammie Collins

1.  The meeting was called to order at 6:01 PM by Cyrie Lange.
2.  Approval of previous minutes: Minutes of the June 13th, 2018 meeting were approved unanimously as written.
3.  Librarian’s Report

1.  Summer Reading Program is going strong (32 children!) They are over halfway to their goal of 500 books/minutes read, which should allow for the bouncy house treat.
2.  Back door has been painted. Cyrie says it looks great.
3.  Samantha’s attempts to contact a power-washing contractor have been unsuccessful. She has also not been able to contact ARC about servicing the AC system.
4.  Northcountry News listed some Fairlee Library events that do not exist; she asked they be removed.
5.  Samantha will be on vacation August 1st to August 8th. Suzanne and volunteers will cover open hours, but there will be no activities.

4) Treasurer’s Report
Budget printout looks fine.

5) Old Business
Bulkhead door painting will be ~$1800. We will pay for this mostly out of our savings account. Trustees agreed on light gray for the color. This might not happen for a few months.

Book sale made more than $400 for the Friends of the library.

Samantha has mentioned parking lot grading to Tad.

6) New Business
The patron printer may need to be replaced soon. Samantha will contact All-Access Infotech.

We might want to put a no parking sign right next to the snowman.

7) Next Meeting will be Wednesday September 12th at 7 PM (Meeting adjourned at 6:43 PM).
