Call to Order – Cathy McGrath, Chair, called the meeting to order.
PRESENT
- Selectboard Members: Cathy McGrath (Chair); Peter Berger (Vice Chair); Frank J. Barrett, Jr.
- Visitors: Georgette Wolf-Ludwig, Elizabeth Wilson
- Town Administrator: Tad Nunez
- Minutes Clerk: Joanna Bligh
AGENDA MODIFICATIONS
Cathy McGrath asked that the Minutes Review be moved to the beginning of the Agenda.
MOTION: Frank J. Barrett, Jr./Peter Berger moved/seconded the motion to move the Minutes Review to the beginning of the Agenda. The motion passed unanimously.
REVIEW OF MINUTES
MOTION: Peter Berger/Frank J. Barrett, Jr. moved/seconded the motion to approve the Selectboard Meeting Minutes from 1-2-18 with modifications. The motion passed unanimously.
STAFF AND PUBLIC COMMENTS
Town Hall Heating Outages
Cathy McGrath stated that the heat was out in the Town Hall building over the weekend. Georgette Wolf-Ludwig stated that there was human error, not a mechanical problem, in adjusting the heat for the weekend. Brian Newcity, Project Manager at Leet-Ware Construction, will give a full report of the recent and past heat outages in the Town Hall.
OLD/UNFINISHED BUSINESS
Selectboard Annual Report
Cathy McGrath stated that there are some edits suggested by Peter Berger to be included in the Selectboard Annual Report. Georgette Wolf-Ludwig stated that the Town Administrator in past years has written an Annual Report; however, with the TA just starting his position with the Town of Fairlee, no TA Annual Report will be required. Tad Nunez suggested that the arts council’s work be included in the Selectboard Annual Report.
Fairlee Newsletter
Cathy McGrath stated that the Fairlee Newsletter was circulated to the Selectboard members for review.
RECESS: Cathy McGrath recessed the meeting at 6:20 PM.
MOTION: Frank J. Barrett, Jr./Peter Berger moved/seconded the motion to recess the meeting. The motion passed unanimously.
RECONVENE: Cathy McGrath reconvened the meeting at 7:35 PM.
BOARD ORDERS & CORRESPONDENCES
The orders and correspondences were presented to the Town of Fairlee Selectboard for signatures.
MOTION: Frank J. Barrett, Jr./Peter Berger moved/seconded the motion to close the meeting. The motion passed unanimously.
