Art Exhibit at Town Hall February - March: Soos Martin

Soos majored in art at a wonderful teaching college in Ripon, Yorkshire, England and followed a career in education where she integrated art into all the subject areas as often as she could. Her special joy was introducing students to a range of media; their enthusiasm and love of art was priceless. Now that she has retired from school teaching she loves spending time developing her own artistic interests.
She took an evening class several years ago in stained glass and found wonder in every aspect of the materials, design, and problem solving.
Most of the glass art that you see is made for both walls and windows and has a mosaic quality combining found objects, items from the natural world, and different types of glass.
