CALL TO ORDER: 6:06 PM
Miranda Clemson, Chair, called the meeting to order.
A quorum was met.
REVIEW OF MINUTES
MOTION: Smith Reed moved and Miranda Clemson seconded the motion to accept the Meeting Minutes from November 28, 2018, as written. The vote passed unanimously.
MOTION: Margaret Gladstone moved and Cathy McGrath seconded the motion to accept the Meeting Minutes from December 6, 2018, as written. The vote passed unanimously.
DISCUSSION OF THE JANUARY 17 PUBLIC EVENT
Planning Party ─ Facilitation Training
Chris Brimmer opened the discussion with a sample proposed agenda noting that the public event will be held in the Town Hall auditorium and focus on transportation, economic development, and recreation/conservation in Fairlee. Brimmer suggested the event cover the three topics in 20-minute break-out sessions to get responses and suggested solutions from the public. Cathy McGrath suggested elaborating on the positive characteristics of the Town as a discussion starter. Smith Reed stated that the plan for the event is to solicit ideas from residents to update the Town Plan and to incorporate into the Better Connections grant.

The group planned detailed logistics for the meeting, named facilitators for each topic, and followed up with ideas for more publicity, including posters, Facebook posts, and calls using the Town’s emergency phone communication (code red).
MOTION: Tim Danen moved and Susanne Pacilio seconded the motion to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed unanimously.
