CALL TO ORDER: 6:08 PM

Miranda Clemson called the meeting to order. A quorum was met.

AGENDA MODIFICATIONS: None
REVIEW OF MINUTES

MOTION: Tim Danen moved and Sarah Berger seconded the motion to accept the Meeting Minutes from November 7, 2019, as written. The vote passed unanimously.

OLD BUSINESS

Current and New Members’ Recruitment for Town Meeting Elections
Susanne Pacilio reminded members that at the last meeting they discussed recruiting new members. Chris Brimmer noted that there is currently one vacancy and Sarah Berger’s and Denis Lambert’s terms expire in March 2020. The members suggested advertising to find interested people by posting on the Town’s website, the ListServe, and local papers.

Action Item: Goals and Structure of the Unified Development Bylaw
The Planning Commission members discussed revisions to the Unified Development Bylaw to match the draft Town Plan. Once the Town Plan passes, then changes can be made to the bylaw. Discussion topics included cannabis regulations, the liquor store ban, clarifying minimum lot size per use, zoning limitations in the interchange zone, housing needs for Fairlee, an extension of Little River Medical Clinic, assessing the need for a town nurse, and the proposed development of mountain bike trails on Lake Morey Resort land. Brimmer recommended changing the liquor store ban to a conditional use permit, then, the Development Review Board can impose conditions for development.

NEXT MEETING

The members agreed to change the date of the next meeting to January 9, 2020, at 6 PM.

MOTION: Susanne Pacilio moved and Sarah Berger seconded the motion to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed unanimously.
