CALL TO ORDER: 6:12 PM

Miranda Clemson called the meeting to order. A quorum was met.

REVIEW OF MINUTES

MOTION: Denis Lambert moved and Tim Danen seconded the motion to accept the Meeting Minutes from June 20, 2019, as written. The vote passed unanimously.

TOWN PLAN SECTION DRAFTS

Paige Greenfield suggested that the Planning Commission members review the Health and Emergency Planning sections following templates from other Vermont towns and review each of the Action Items from the previously reviewed Town Plan sections. Greenfield provided the members with a revised parcel map for their review, which prompted discussion on the regulations/zoning specific to each land use section.

Education/Health/Emergency Planning

Discussion included reviewing language from a template prepared for another Vermont town. The members agreed to review this section again. 

Action Items from Town Plan Sections

Greenfield asked the members to approve the Action Items for each Town Plan section. Discussion continued from the previous meeting in defining value-added products from the Energy section. Review and identification of the responsible parties for Transportation, Natural Resources, Energy, Economic Development, Recreation, Agriculture and Forestry, Utilities and Facilities, Education/Emergency Planning (Health was tabled), Housing, and Land Use were completed by Greenfield and the members.

Greenfield noted that before approval the completed sections should be disseminated to appropriate persons or committees for their review.

Next Meetings

The next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, August 1, at 6:00 PM as a planning session for distribution of the Town Plan draft. On Thursday, August 15, at 6:00 PM, the Commission will meet with Greenfield to review of all chapters of the Town Plan. 

MOTION: Sarah Berger moved and Tim Danen seconded the motion to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed unanimously.
