Forest Board

The Forest Board meets the second Wednesday of March, June, September and December.

There was a Special Selectboard Meeting November 3, 2021 to hear from residents regarding management of the town forest. The report on that meeting is here.

Fairlee Forest Management Plan and high resolution soil and forest maps

In 2016 students from Rivendell Academy, under the supervision of Marcus Bradley, planted a number of American Chestnut trees in the Fairlee Town Forest. The trees continue to be monitored.
